and commercial batteries, using calcium,
silver and low antimony lead alloys in both
wet and dry-charged technologies.
2. Plastics Molding Plant
Manufactures a majority of East Penn's plastic
case, cover and component requirements.
3. Industrial Battery Plant
Manufactures large motive power batteries
for material handling equipment, airport
support vehicles and locomotives.
4. Stationary Battery Plant
Manufactures AGM, Gel and Flooded lead-acid
batteries for telecommunications, UPS, solar,
wheelchair and other types of equipment.
6. Central Services Building
Houses complete on-site maintenance departments,
construction crew, machine shop and laundry facility.
7. Keller Technical/Engineering Center
One of three on-site technical centers, which
houses design, testing, research and
environmental facilities.
8. Health and Safety Center
Houses medical personnel, health and safety
labs, clinics and physical therapy facilities.
9. Corporate Headquarters
Houses executive, sales, marketing, and
administration departments.
10. Battery Accessory/Cable & Wire Plant
Manufactures a wide array of accessory,
wire and cable products.
11. Distribution Center
Houses well over 1/2 million batteries and
thousands of accessory products using
RF computer inventory control and tracking. |
